G2K Group Announces Growth in International Relocations

Singapore - June 28, 2004
Singapore-headquartered G2K Group (www.g2kgroup.com) has announced a sharp increase in activity in its International Moving division with business volume for the sector in 2003 up 70% over the previous year.

"The growth has continued into the first quarter of 2004 which is extremely pleasing," commented G2K Director, Hameed Ghouse, putting the increase largely down to G2K's determined efforts to increase its market penetration as well as an overall increase in the general level of activity in the marketplace.

"Most of our business has come from word-of-mouth recommendations but we also took the decision a year or so ago to concentrate our efforts on strengthening the range of skills we have to offer through training and development of our staff."

These efforts appear to be paying off although G2K are not taking anything for granted and are continuing to aim for the highest possible quality at the lowest possible price.

"With more and more people paying for their own moves, either out of allowances or in the case of entrepreneurs out of their own pockets, it is critical that we continue seeking ways to reduce the costs of international relocations for our customers. In many respects G2K offers a no-frills service where the customer is in charge, deciding what services they require and being billed accordingly."
